ME again!

I really suck at this blogging thing...Gosh my last few posts were Christmas and well here we are again...December! So anyways let's catch up a little.. I am working now..Assistant Manager at Dollar tree. I got hired for Stratford but it still hasn't opened. So I worked in Derby for a while covering Donna while she had knee surgery. I had such a nice CALM experience in that store. Much lower volume store and WAY cleaner and organized..But now here I am again in the Bridgeport store..This store is a MAD house..The store manager there is a real PIA too..Can't wait to get to my store and make it my own. We go to start setting up January 1st..that can't come fast enough for me!

Kids are doing well..Ava just turned 8 and she is in the 3rd grade. She is growing so fast and can't believe what a beautiful little lady she is turning into. She helps so much with Vae, she even changes P.P diapers, she dresses her when they get out of the tub..She loves to play teacher and now she has a little scrapbook just like Mommy..

Zoey is in Kindergarten, she loves her teacher. She is doing really well in school, she writes her name and knows all her shapes, colors and numbers..She even is reading a little...She has calmed down a lot since she started school..Still fights lots with her sisters, but hey what are sisters for?

Nevaeh just turned 3..and FULL of energy. She is like a little energizer bunny..She just keeps going and going..She is a true meaning of sugar and spice..Cause she can be the sweetest little girl and then next thing you know..Watch out! LOL she is a tiny little thing but she is one tough cookie..Sure keeps us on our toes!

The boys are both doing well also..Doing what boys do! Isaiah has been doing better with coming over and even stayed over..big progress!

We are getting ready for the holidays..Tree is up and still need to finish decorating the house

On the home front..Well we went back to acorn and we got kinda, sorta good news..The hubby's score went up a lot over the past 6 months..They said that we are ready to meet with a mortgage broker but haven't heard anything yet..So were trying not to rush it, but things are really looking up..I just can't wait for that day that we finally get our own home..Hopefully in "2012" we can say "HONEY, WERE HOME"!!

3 years...Oh Vae!

Well my baby is 3..Where did those 3 years go?? No idea!! She was just a little peanut that fit into her stocking that the hospital gave to me when she was born, cause she was a December baby. Now she is way past terrible two's and just as terrible in her 3's. She is my most ummmm let's just say "spirited" child. She can be the most sweetest and lovable girlie and then BOOM she puts this little mean face and she will fight you..She fights with her daddy and sisters all the time..Her all time favorite lines of hers are "I'm mad at you" "I don't want to play with you" The way she says it is just too cute!

She talks a lot more now, but she still has a lot more she needs to say..But we will just let her take her time...I have a feeling that when her full vocab comes in, we may never get a word in..LOL! She is still in diapers..My fault..I just have not taken the time to really train her. Now that I am working it's even harder..but that is definitely on the top of the "To do" list.

She is now calling me "Mommy" for a while I was "Mama" and gosh I loved it..but that's okay that's one sweet name especially coming from my Vae bear! I hope that she slows down now cause she just may be my last baby :( Only time will tell...but for now..Vae is 3!

So I love the name "Mommy" Oh, to hear them words, the sweetest sound, could there be anything better?? Yeah, I could be called Mama. That's what my Vae bear calls me..Oh how sweet it sounds..Mama, talk about melting my heart! I always wanted to be a Mama and I am one <3

Beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I am not a big fan of the winter..HATE the cold..I would love to hibernate in my very warm, but very decorated home...Cause while I loathe Winter...I LOVE the holidays...I have to say my favorite holidays have always been Easter and Thanksgiving...But since having children, there is nothing better then decorating a house with the Joy of Christmas..




This year I am happy with how it looks..Since living in this apartment, I have had my tree in a few different spots, this year it's back to the first spot I had it in..

Usually the tree goes up Thanksgiving day..(exception this year, Ava's birthday)...So we were little late this year..but we had a nice time we played Christmas music, while we put up the tree..The kids helped put the ornaments up..





We tried getting good pictures for the Christmas cards..Gosh it's really hard getting 5 kids to all look, not close there eyes, give each other bunny ears, OR make the peace sign in the picture....AVA!!!!


NOW ALL WE NEED IS CHRISTMAS!!

Falling in love with FALL...

My favorite time of the year! I love the way outside looks this time of year, the trees look so beautiful and not to mention the holidays..I am just in LOVE with FALL..


So we of course took lots of Pictures.. But the funny part is that, we didn't only take them in OUR leaves..I pulled over on the way to the doctor and took Zoey and Nevaeh out to take pictures in the most beautiful orange/yellow leaves EVER! YES,we were trespassing, and NO, I did not care...It was beautiful, only wish I would have had the canon, had to take them on my phone, so not the best pictures but it was super fun!



The kids look forward to fall pictures, so they kept asking me, "Are we gonna take fall pictures this weekend?" I kept telling them to wait for more leaves.. Finally I said the leaves aren't falling fast enough..So we brought the leaves to us..YES, I trespassed again..and this time, I committed another crime...."Leave thief".. that's right, I went and stole a huge bag of leaves from someone else's house...We actually took our Halloween pictures right in front of this house..(we thought that it was empty) when we went back the day to snatch some, we noticed, It was NOT...OOOPs...lol! Hey, I look at it as a favor, who likes raking leaves..besides ME...LOL!

Vae Bear's 2nd Birthday....

My "BABY" is turning 2..I'll tell you it sure is more Bitter then sweet!I mean lets face it She is my last child, my last "BABY"..Never to rock another baby in my arms, never to nurse another baby, or listen to them breathe while they sleep.. Doesn't seem fair! There should be like a law that the last baby HAS to get older SLOWER! Okay so I am being dramatic but just can't believe that My Vae is 2..I know she is only 2 so it's not so bad and she does still let me rock her, but for how long? I don't want to lose that "Need" my mommy feeling!! Okay enough with the whining, Laur!

So this beautiful little girl, with spunk and a attitude, but yet so loving and gentle the best of both of my girls put into one and some of the worse too..lol! What a blast these 2 years have been, she has added so much to our family..It's funny how before someone is there you didn't feel like you needed them or were missing anything, but then when they are there, you don't know how you lived without them! That's how I feel about my Vae bear! Love her so much!

She is a cuddler and loves to watch movies, not so much cartoons but she will sit through a whole movie glued to the screen..Big girl movies at that, she was about 7-9 months when she LOVED watching the grinch, now she doesn't like it so much..go figure! Her favorite movie right now is Princess and the frog..She loves mac and cheese and hot dogs..She says some words, and a few sentences like "I get it" or
"I want that" there not clear but I know that is exactly what she is saying..Her Stop sure is clear..lol She sure is a spunky little thing, she has these brows on her that tell you when she is upset! She puts her face and goes to a corner until we give in or she feels like coming out!So stubborn!


We didn't do big party's this year for Ava and Vae...too much right around the holidays so they both had nice little get togethers with a cake and family! Daddy bought the kids Burger king happy meals and he brought BK crowns, gosh you loved that.Wore it in all the pictures..lol It was a nice birthday, Abuelo and Carmen came to spend it with us and we had a nice dinner, I made turkey cause I still had one and since we all love Thanksgiving, we had ourselves another turkey day! It was a awesome day...Happy Birthday to my beautiful 2 year old..**TEAR**

Ava's Turkey Day Birthday...

My baby girl, my first born turned 7 today??????? Where is the time going? It's hard to believe that 7 years ago I brought my baby girl home from the hospital ON Turkey day and this year's gobble gobble day we are celebrating her 7th birthday!!


She was so excited that her birthday was falling on Thanksgiving day, she was excited to eat turkey AND cake..LOL!

What a Girlie girl she is, I got her this dress and she loved it..How grown up she is starting to look, can't believe how fast she is growing!











So this is the cake and that is supposed to be a #7...Hmmm there was some debate, some were saying that it was a #1...It might be..OOOOPSS!













We were gonna spend the day at my Mother in laws house.. I usually cook every year, but this year I wasn't in the cooking spirit...So we went over there..Now mind you, my family always ate Thanksgiving dinner early in the day..Well we go over there around 4ish and nothing is done...We were starving.. I wanted to save my appetite and calories for there..<~~ dieting! Well Luis was like "Lets go" Ummm okay where are we gonna eat on Thanksgiving, everything is closed..he was so sure that McDonald's was open.. Well we start driving around and sure enough everything is closed!

We finally went to a open grocery store and bought bread and bologna...Happy Bologna Day...!!




The day turned out really good though...Good food and family..We had a cake and sang to my beautiful 7 year old...Love you baby girl! What a special little girl you are Ava, for years I never thought I was gonna be a "mommy" and you came into my life and changed that..Thanks for giving me the best name I have ever been called..."Mommy" and couldn't ask for a sweeter, gentler, loving little girl..you make my life complete..

P.S now can you slow down...LOL!
