Memorial Day....

So this day first of all is to remember all of our Fallen soldiers, that have gave there life to fight for us.. I thank them and the ones that continue to do it right now.

Our day. We had a pretty lazy morning and then finally brought our fun outside till it was time for daddy to come home. We finally found Ava's peddle for her bike so she was loving that. Riding up and down the drive way..

Then I made them..YES..made them take pictures. Had to bribe them with ice cream..lol











When daddy came home we went over to Mother in laws house for a cookout....

Puddles AND a Rainbow!...!

This hose sure is doing wonders on these icky hot days..Today we even made puddles in the drive way and we had fun splashing in them with our bare feet.


They get wet and have fun and I just snap away, I never get tired of taking pictures of these girlie's. I just want to treasure every second and I sure am gonna have enough pictures..lol I am not ME if I don't have a few feet pictures in there...

While we were out having fun in the sun and spraying the hotness away, we came across a beautiful rainbow and with the help of editing you can see it awesome in this picture. (plus daddy coming home from work)

Not hot enough...

For outside... But Who says you need a grill and a patio table to make a successful picnic, my frying pan and kitchen table did just fine to make for a nice Indoor-sie- day.. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and of course, Puti's famous "potato salad" with Mellman's mayo..NO,it's not a typo.. that's what I call it cause she thinks that there is nothing better then the Hellman's but my cheap impostor did the job just right.. YUMMM!

We tried to go out earlier in the day to play with the hose, then we realized it was just not the day for outdoor fun.

So we brought the fun back inside..(Ava was spraying a ant off of Zoey's leg) Vae was drinking the water and spitting grass out..lol) silly girls..


Daddy slept just about the whole day because he didn't get home until the crack' of dawn. He DID have to work but since he would have got..uhhhh, a whole 3 hours of sleep before he would have to be in.. He decided to call in drunk, ohhh I meant sick..;D But hey on a good note he WON us some money.. $200..Not lots but usually we lose big so anything up is good for us. He actually was up $270 the last time that I had spoke to him, but I guess he tried his luck and lost the $70. Still okay! Good job, baby!

Okay so of course a girls diary is her private possession and should not be invaded. But when that girl is a 6 year old, what could she possibly want to hide???? Well Ava had her little diary and Lucy asked her what she had inside? Ava said "nothing" and put a very sneaky face..So Lucy says can I look and this little girl freaks out. NO!!! Hmmm, so were all like why? Curiosity is really getting to us, like why is she freaking out this way, I mean FREAKING out!!! screaming and crying.. Maybe I was wrong to want to know but at her age there is not much she should be hiding from me. So anyways we finally get it open and what do we see...

I LOVE JAMES COOK.

Hmmmmm Okay! How cute is that. but a little young for that, but still innocent, I HOPE! But I talked to her about it later and was so hoping it was someone from TV. But nope, its someone from her class?!?!? Gonna look at it as cute for now and watch her closely!!!!

He Musta went out...

If were eating Chinese food, daddy went out..lol! That seems to have become the deal, whenever he has his guys night out, us girlies order Chinese food. The girls love the chicken wings and I usually get general tso's chicken. Off to his favorite place he went tonight.. "ching-ching" as we call it.. !Casino!

Button of life...

I thought a lot today about how fast these kids grow..I mean I really have to face it, Vae is most likely my last baby.

No more small cuddly, need to be burped and rocked..Raspberry sounds and the little coos they make. and OH, those sleepy smiles, sound asleep but smiling from ear to ear...HOW cute is that! Learning to sit up and crawl and then walk..Not to mention the BF'ing that bond between you and a baby is, well I have tears in my eyes. Not sure there is much that compares to that. Those are things I love about babies..

The things I don't love are not being able to sleep, cause I am worried that I won't hear her cry or is she too hot or too cold.. Is she breathing okay.. Is she gonna get sick while she is just a little helpless baby..Some parents just don't like the baby stage cause they don't get enough sleep.. I sure didn't, but more often then not, it was because I was constantly getting up to hear her breathe.. Luis always said that I would jump for every little sound my baby would make.. So those are parts that I don't like..

But anyways I am getting a little up in age..*cough*cough* to keep making babies.. The magic question.."Don't you want to try for the boy"? Ummm NO, cause with my luck it would most likely be another girl, which is not a bad thing. But do I LONG for that boy or feel incomplete without a "Son"..Not at all, I always think about it like this, If I were to have 3 boys right now, I feel like my heart would ache for a little girl. So God decided to bless me with these 3 little girls and I am ever so grateful. I have 3 best friends for life..

But I just wish that someone could press a slow motion button cause it feels like someone has it on fast forward..I want to remember everything, little things, like the way Nevaeh says bye bye with her cute little fingers moving back and forth or the way she makes a frown face when you take something away from her. She loves blankets, loves to be covered, she pulls the blanket up over her and tucks it ever so sweetly under her arms. It's really hard to get a kiss from her, but if you ask her she will sure make the sound and pucker up and then right when you go in for the big smooch she turns her face.. little stinker.

The breastfeeding bond is another post that I have to pour my heart out into but how I treasure those moments with her..Please someone pause this baby of mines, life...

Next best thing...

We had to get rid of our kiddie pool, it had a hole in it. On this HOT and I MEAN HOT day we had to find a way to cool off.So we broke out the hose and they got there bathing suits on(which they need new ones really bad). They had a good old time spraying each other and sliding on there "Water slide"..


Zoey loves to be the sprayee cause she hates to be sprayed..lol

Doesn't take much to make these little girls happy..Talk about cheap fun!

Sunkissed toes and a swimsuit soggy diaper what can possibly be cuter.....

Oh yeah these 3 hot babez...


We also planted seeds, so hopefully we will have perty flowers blooming soon!

Deal...

I don't watch too much tv, well live anyways. My DVR is up there with the awesomeness of like laptop, camera etc..Those are like my electronic kids..LOVE them! Life without them is just not good. Ever since Dvr came into my life it has been a commercial free happiness. I hate to watch regular TV and sit through and not be able to fast forward..So needless to say I barely do watch anything that's not on my DVR.. I do however have quite the hefty list on mine.

I also have a bad habit of not deleting my favorite shows. So I have like 5 American idols and 4 dancing with the stars and even a so you think you can dance from months ago..My percentage of recordings is always very high.. My newest show to record is Deal or no deal, talk about hooked. I just can't get enough of that show. My all time favorite day of the week is today though, biggest loser and american idol.

While I was watching my shows, daddy gave Nevaeh her yogurt and she was having fun making a mess..



After that she took a much needed bath and then the mini couch potato started to watch a little tv..Look at how much she gets into the tv..

My 4 year old!

It's really hard to believe that Zoey is 4. The time really did go so fast. She went from being my baby to my big girl in a blink of an eye. She is so independent, she trys to do everything herself, weather it be make her own sandwich or dress herself. Such a BIG girl.



Zoila Sky born at 4:14AM on the 24th is now 4.. that's a lot of 4's. She almost was a Arianna Rose, that is the name that we actually had written down on the paper but my mother in law came in and pushed her guilt trip on me and there she became our "Zoey" which is very fitting. I also wanted to name her Savannah, which I even bought her a cup with that on there and she loves it. But she is Zoey, my little fighter~lovable~tomboyish, but yet still very girlie. She fights a lot with Ava but that is her BFF...



She had a really good 4th birthday, we are hoping to do a bigger/little party on Sunday with a few kids and some family. Today though we sang happy birthday and did a little cake. Lucy and Puti as usual came through for us and spent her birthday with us.. Daddy brought her two balloons and she got some movies and coloring books and a princess book. She had a really good time.



Her last birthday was not a really good one, her daddy was in Puerto Rico for her great grandfathers passing and she was not feeling good at all. So today was a really good thing for her..







Happy 4th Birthday to my little Spunky Zoey, there is never a dull moment with you. You have brought lots of joy to my life and I love that smile, those dimples just turn my heart to mush. Many more to come, my sweet girl!

Right now her favorite things are..
Movies- Pipi longstocking, Willy wonka, Sleeping beauty
Shows- The upside down show, Dora etc.. She loves Full house.
Foods- fruit loops, bologna tacos,(don't ask, her fathers creation)potato salad..
Words- Her vocab is a bit extreme, she has always been a good talker.Some of her usual lines.. "I'm not hearing that", "that will take long", "Well, actually", "BFF's don't say that", "Haha, I tricked you", My favorite, is how she says Vae's name.. "DUH-Vaeh" Out of her mouth comes the most unexpected things...LOL
She loves to wear skirts and DO everything her big sister does. Ohhhkaaaayy!

Come on over....

Today turned out really good. Luis was off but we didn't have anything planned. Puti calls and I am just trying to get everything cleaned up from a long weekend. She says they are coming over for coffee. So her and the crew came by, we had coffee and made a little lunch..





We decided to bring our fun outdoors. We went to the backyard with the kids. I decided to put my toy to work some more..Snap-snap-snap!

They played baseball and the kids had fun running the wrong way and wearing Nyeshia out. Got the ball and bat stuck in the tree. Got some goodies for the kids at the store and made (hot hogs) for them..lol It was a lot of unexpected fun. A day that may have been spent indoors turned out to be a great day of Good fun with great friends.









Nevaeh's first scraped up knee.. She took it like a trooper, pretty sure it bothered mommy more then her..
