Somebody stop her...

My first born baby girl is growing so fast it leaves me wondering, Where is the time going?? She is 6 going on 30 most days. The things that she comes up with or the clothes that she puts on just has me in such amazement..I am watching her grow into quite the little lady. She does her own hair now, she is totally fascinated with her hair. When she walks she does the flip of the hair..

Today she says to me when she walks in the kitchen "Hey Mom" and then she goes "Did I just call you mom?" So I said "Yeah" She says "Well can I start calling you that instead of mommy, cause that's what big kids say" All I could do was pick her up and spin her, and say to her and that's what you are becoming a BIG kid..

Talk about bittersweet. I kind of can't wait to do the whole big girl- mom thing. shopping, nails done and keep secrets from daddy. (hehehe) But at the same time, she was my first baby and I can't believe how fast she is growing. I could still remember holding her in the hospital and telling her how much I would always love her. I just hope that we always have the relationship that we have right now.. That mommy will always be her BFF..

Today she did her own hair. She did a really good job.

I LOVE all my girls the same, but they are all very different. Ava is the most caring out of them, she is very motherly and protective. She is so sensitive and giving. She has such a old soul about her. She truly is a good girl, don't get me wrong she has a temper and a attitude, but for the most part she is a sweet girl. I can't wait to see her one day as a mom.. I am just gonna sit back and watch her through the years blossom from a young lady into a beautiful woman..

The day after..

The day after Easter was just a boring day. Did some cleaning and mostly rested. Uploaded pics to Facebook. We had leftover lasagna for dinner. It was mostly just a regular lazy day.. The weather is getting better which I LOVE. Just can't wait for the beach days to come!

The best part of the day was when Ava walked in with these beautiful flowers for me. I put them in water in Zoey's Dora cup..

Our Easter...

Well I was worried how Easter would turn out this year since the girls didn't want baskets. It turned out pretty well after all.. I made up there baskets while they were sleeping. When they woke up in the morning, Zoey's first reaction was to run to the back door. That is where my grandma would hide my baskets so I just kept with that..Doesn't make for great photos but I love the idea of it. They both screamed "The bunny came!!" I acted surprised, what are you talking about?? They said come see and brought me to the back door, they both just started digging through there baskets. Nevaeh just kinda looked at hers like hmm this is shiny, but really didn't know what to think of it.

After baskets were torn apart they went and took a bath and I started to make the eggs for the hunt. We did 24 eggs filled with candy and little bubbles and balls and the best part for them, money.. They got dressed and we went outside and took pictures first, I had to bribe them to take pics or else forget they put up a fight to take pics now.. But I got some good ones. Ava and Zoey didn't want to take too many but I got a few good of them. Nevaeh gave me a hard time to smile but finally my mom got her to laugh by doing some crazy dancing...lol

Daddy was sick he had a cold so he slept most of the day but we did our hunt outside and the girls ended up with 12 eggs each and $2.00 for there Piggy's.. Lots of candy of course.. We took a few more pics outside and then came up to have some lasagna. We were going to eat at Mama's house but she was doing a cookout and I just felt like I wanted to have some real food..Not that I don't LOVE a good cookout, just Easter to me brings back the memories of my grams house and a yummy lasagna in the middle of the table.. Ava loves lasagna just like I do, so she was super siked about it... Came out really good, not as good as my grandmas yet but still practicing!

We went to my Mother-in-laws house and they had another egg hunt over there. Lucy and Puti were there so it was fun to be with the family. We had coffee and watched the Yankee vs. Boston game..Yeah, yeah they lost, that's okay its the beginning of the season. My husband was being a butt head so we went home and that was pretty much "Our Easter" My girls had a awesome time and that's what matters..

This day brings it all back....

Good Friday brings back memories of working in Mainport Fish and Chips, My first job, just about to turn 16 walking home from Stratford high with friends. It started out as a joke going in there mostly out of curiosity and while I was in there I noticed a hiring sign.. So I asked about the job and hours, the owner was there and he gave me the quickest interview ever..He asked me to read the menu and I did.. He says "When can you start"? Little did I know those MANY years ago that tiny little place would have played a big big part of my life..

I worked there for many years, became a manager at the age of 16.. The people I was managing were all WAY older then me. I was given the nickname "Little one" by his manager that was working there for a short period with me, she went on to buy into a subway. So I basically took over for her.. The owner was there most of the time so really managing mostly consisted of taking care of ordering and making the chowders and doing scheduling..He would leave around 3ish and come back to do the money. Sometimes I would have to lock up but not often. There was one time that he actually left for a busy Friday night, and of course what happens the toilet in the men's room over flows..

The owner was a older man and most of the time a pig, I had to put him in his place many times while I was working there..That is why I quit a couple times also, but I always went back when I was out of a job..The last time I called to get my job back he says to me "What are you kidding, aren't you like 30 now?" Which I was.. I already had Ava...I stayed working there for a little while, it was really different in there, through out the years, the owner was really obsessed with Elvis and it sorta became a shrine in there to him..

The prices went extremely high and the customers were changing..That was one of the things that I loved about it, the customers were the same loyal Wednesday fish sandwich people and Friday night call in orders were the same people on the phone placing there orders..Sometimes I knew there order before they even got to say it..Lent obviously was our busiest time of the year, we would have lines out the door. But it was really slowing down alot.. I left again, that time I was pretty sure it was for good, didn't realize that soon after it would also mean the end of Mainport.. I seen a friend not so long ago that told me that they closed down, there was family issues and therefore closed up.

So Mainports journey is over but I still remember my first job.. The best thing about it was I would remember going in there with my grandma years before and buying fish and stuff clams on Good Friday.. I still remember the smell and the swinging door and all the pranks played in there..Like soft shell crab legs in my purse, which was SO not funny at the time, but now I can laugh about it..Mixing the tartar sauce and shucking the clams...Mainport will never be forgotten by many, especially on Good Friday...

Whew...

That was a really hectic weekend, and it was back to "Real life". Back to cleaning and school, back to Monday!! The boys came over for a little while cause Luis got out at 3. My cousin came over to spend the day with us. Sometimes he is a pain in the arse, but there are other times that it's nice for him to be here. He watches soaps with me, how funny is that! We had burgers and fries and watched cop out. But it was just a quiet day at home. Back to Real life and every day craziness...

Fits Perfectly...

I had this made by a online friend she does all my siggies for my justmommies board, she is amazing. I wanted the infinity sign cause not only do I love the way it looks and yes I know it looks like a sideways 8..lol, but to me it just represents never ending love and that is what I have for my family..The wings behind represent my 2 angel babies that are in heaven, I never held them in my arms but I always hold them in my heart..So that is why I chose this for my blog tag. It came out perfect just the way I pictured it.. The title of my blog, I feel also suits us well..We are not perfect, who is? But we are Perfectly Imperfect.

Luis bought me this frame for our pictures it had our names on it and our anniversary date engraved on it, on a little plaque in the middle, but it fell off, its in my heater but I can't reach it..lol I will get it before I move out of here though. When my girls say "I love you" it usually will be, I love you infinity or like a big house..Which both of those just warm me heart..So this is my blog tag, I use it for others to find my blog, hopefully people will enjoy reading about my boring life!
