All of a sudden I hear rain and the first thing that came to my mind was that it would cool down a little. Next thing you know the windows start shaking..??What the heck?? Then I hear the thunder and it's getting louder and harder. So I go to the living room and tell the girls to go into the kitchen..There is a really HUGE tree right across from us and it scares the begeezies out of me..

This was a few houses down.. Our street was closed off..
AND there was a car underneath it, didn't even see it until they moved the tree!
Well it didn't last long, by the time I closed my living room windows it had already stopped raining. But the last window I was closing was already soaked all around and the carpet from the rain that came in.
Luis was taking his lunch right around the time it happened and he came home to pick up his parking ticket to go down to the police station with it.. When he was making his way down there he was telling me how bad it was, there was trees on top of cars and buildings that had billboards on top of them. Businesses and homes with blown out glass..A whole lot of craziness!
The thought of us getting a tornado is really scary, but what's even scarier is, I keep hearing how this is all in the bible, and I am religious and truly believe in God, but I have never read the bible. When I hear things like the world is coming to a end and other stories.. Talk about scaring me!! I just can't imagine my girls not getting to live there life's and experience joy and happiness that comes throughout the years. Become Moms! One day! I don't know how to feel about all this..
I know that I need to get more into my religion and understand more about whats going on, maybe then I won't be so afraid. or at least understand!
