Since I have met Luis he always goes out of his way to make my birthday SO special.. He takes it off from work, usually the weekend of the 4th or a few days..He acts like it's some special holiday or something...lol Duh it is, it's America's birthday.. That is pretty big. I sure love sharing my birthday with America. My mom says I came in with a boom..
Well this years "big plan" was to spend it at the Jersey shore. So I have to admit, I was not looking forward to it. I am not a big fan of the beach. But boy was I wrong. I had so much fun and this was not just a regular beach it had a boardwalk filled with stores and games and there was even a amusement park. We didn't go on any rides though.
We didn't really walk on the boardwalk though it was oh so super hot. So we stayed near the water and under the umbrella. I finally jumped in the water also. I don't swim so I don't go in too far and the waves were ridiculous here.. They were laughing at me cause every time a wave came I was running back to shore..In most of the pictures I got my hands in the air and Im rushing back to safety..lol Yeah everyone had there laughs at me..But I had a blast.
We had a really nice time at the beach. We went back to Carmen's for a cookout and we were gonna go to the fireworks but by the time we ate it would have been too late.
They even surprised me with a cake..I started thinking okay this day was really perfect but NO cake..Who doesn't have a cake on there birthday..Then they came out with it. It was really good. Carmen made it..perfect ending to a awesome 34th birthday..Ewwww 34 getting SO old...STOP, PAUSE, shoot slow down...LOL
